Synopsis
A 15-year-old country girl named Mon-Mon aspires to be a fashion designer. She lands a job as an au pair for up-and-coming designer Mrs. Kano, her baby daughter PePe, and Mrs. Kano's silly writer husband. However, PePe has the power to make toys and animals behave in very peculiar ways. Mon-Mon's employers seem oblivious to the odd occurrences, and her dream job turns into a chaotically cute mental challenge she has no hope of winning. She is sweet, hardworking, and kind, but very unsophisticated—and simply not used to walking teddy bears and talking stuffed animals. Eventually, she decides to quit and go home, but PePe, a psychic baby who has grown to love her, finds a way to make sure she stays.
