Synopsis
Drawing from an age-old legend, Dojoji Temple follows a young priest who becomes the target of a young woman's overwhelming obsession and desire. When he rejects her advances, her desperation escalates until she transforms into a massive serpent. The priest seeks refuge beneath the temple's bell, yet the woman's fervent passion proves inescapable. This brief animated work by filmmaker Kihachiro Kawamoto combines stop motion with conventional animation methods.
