Synopsis

The second installment in a two-part film series that re-edits the Mawaru Penguindrum anime while incorporating new footage. To rescue their little sister Himari from death, twin brothers Kanba and Shoma Takakura follow the orders of a mysterious penguin hat and seek out the Penguindrum. Meanwhile, high school girl Ringo Oginome, convinced that her fate is predetermined, continues to force the events written in her diary to become reality. At the same time, Masako Natsume pursues Ringo’s diary in hopes of finding a new destiny for herself. A decade has passed since they first began searching for the Penguindrum, and now Kanba and Shoma—who once boarded a train that altered their fate—have returned for a fleeting moment from that destined place.
