Synopsis
Japanese painter FUKAZAWA Takeshi visually interprets Honoré de BALZAC’s novel “La grenadière.” For this Ga-nime, FUKADA Koji brings over 70 tempera paintings to life, weaving a narrative about a mother and child in the 19th century, underscored by a musical score that permeates the entire experience. FUKAZAWA and FUKADA successfully capture the atmosphere of the mansion cherished by BALZAC, using their artistic visuals to evoke imagination and emotion in the viewer in a manner unique to Ga-nime.
