Synopsis
Mei Onigami finds a peculiar round creature that only vocalizes "chimi" at home. Her sisters, Mutsumi and Hazuki, decide to keep it until its owner returns. But when one of them accidentally says the word "hell," more of these beings appear, bringing the total to twelve. The sisters are unfazed until the creatures open a portal that summons an envoy from Hell. Jabberwock the Eighth, a horned and fanged man covered in fur, arrives to unleash a living hell on Earth under his boss's orders. However, finding life in the human realm difficult, the Onigami sisters let him stay. They also take in his "Chimimoryo spirits," the round demons that arrived before him. Known as Jigoku-san by the sisters, this Hell messenger faces a daunting task if he hopes to conquer the world. Before that grand goal, though, he must first endure the everyday hardships of human existence.
