Synopsis
In 2060, the World Organization established a special crisis bureau to handle supernatural emergencies, recruiting top agents globally. Its Dangerous Situation division selected the finest to form the elite Phantom Squad. Three years earlier, during a mission to retrieve specific treasures, the Phantom Squad was ambushed by the Derek Squad due to the naivety of their leader, Hyway. Most Phantom members were killed, and Hyway was framed and thrown off a cliff by Derek. However, the Immortal Stone they were after accidentally fused with Hyway, reviving him and granting time manipulation abilities—freezing and reversing time. Since then, Hyway has lived as a fugitive, staying hidden and quietly caring for Gu Xiaoxi, the sister of his deceased teammate. A turning point came when a mysterious blue virus struck City Y, causing blue patches to spread over victims' bodies until death. Gu Xiaoxi contracted the virus. To fight the virus and save her, Hyway reconnected with the crisis bureau. He teamed up with the charming and skilled agent Yu Jie-Xia Rou, the eccentric child prodigy Tong Xiaoxiao, the impulsive thug Zhan Peng, and other unique individuals to form a new Phantom team. Thus, the hero's story begins.
