Synopsis
Deep-sea archaeologist Hiroshi Ibuki is part of a team conducting excavations on the ocean floor in search of evidence about Earth’s origins. However, they unearth a peculiar colony of luminescent bacteria that mimic the appearance of the Aurora Borealis. Upon reactivation, these ancient microorganisms attempt to alter the planet to match their primitive environment, a process that would eradicate all current forms of life to restore Earth to its early state.
