Synopsis

A collaboration between all-female rock band SCANDAL and the company XFLAG, XPICE is an original animated short—a tale of heroes fighting to protect their city and growing along the way. It has a dash of courage, a pinch of teamwork, and a whole lot of heart. Directed by Tsubasa Nakai, it is set to the song Spice by SCANDAL. Kokyo, a city full of people from all walks of life, is the main target of the mysterious group Zerogram. But Red Pepper and Wasabi—a duo from the superhero league XPICE—refuse to stand by. Red Pepper's fiery punches take down the villains while Wasabi's healing touch cares for the injured. On the surface, things seem to be going well. Beneath it all, however, Wasabi can't shake the feeling that being a hero means something more. One fateful day, the emergency alarm blares—Red Pepper is in trouble! Though unsure of their chances, seeing a teammate in danger helps Wasabi find the courage to step up.
