Eight years ago, Yun Fei Xue's father Yun Tiangang and his brother Yun Fei Shan were killed while defending a dragon vein. As the last remaining member of the Yun bloodline, Yun Fei Xue conceals a perilous secret—a parasitic force merged with him, creating a phantom twin that mimics his appearance. This phantom exists within his mind, constantly scheming to devour his soul. Though Yun Fei Xue has only recently managed to suppress this entity, he receives word of his relatives' murders. He acts as though he is staying idle, but in reality, he secretly builds an organization called "Shadow" to uncover the truth behind what happened that fateful year.
