Synopsis
After a failed romantic confession, Masamune Okumura retreats into the fictional worlds of anime and manga for comfort. Now a second-year high school student and president of the Manga Research Club, he leads a quiet life immersed in the adventures of his favorite character, the angel Liliel. At the start of the new school year, Masamune's routine is disrupted when he meets first-year student Ririsa Amano, an enthusiastic cosplayer. Despite his initial hesitation, the determined girl persuades him to become her personal photographer for a photo collection dedicated to their shared love for Liliel. As Masamune eagerly explores the realms of cosplay and photo editing, he unexpectedly crosses paths with his childhood friend Mikari Tachibana, who has become a model in hopes of catching his attention. Realizing that modeling alone isn't enough to intrigue the devoted otaku, Mikari joins the club and takes up cosplaying herself, all in an effort to win Masamune's heart. Yet, his affection for fictional characters may not extend to those who bring them to life.
