The Hare in Inaba

Synopsis

In "The Hare in Inaba," huge waves carry Usagi-san out to sea. To make his way back home, he outsmarts a crocodile. When he finally gets back, he is so covered in mud that his friends do not recognize him and ultimately leave him behind.

Background

Only an incomplete version exists, the end of the film reel was decayed far too much to be restored by The National Film Center at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo.
