Synopsis
On her first day at a new school, the energetic Hana Nono hopes to leave her childish ways behind and appear mature and dependable. Despite a clumsy start, she quickly bonds with two classmates: the kind and academic class rep Saaya Yakushiji, and the enigmatic Homare Kagayaki. That evening, a magical infant tumbles from the sky onto Hana’s balcony. Hana instantly adores her, naming her Hug-tan. They are accompanied by a sarcastic talking hamster named Hariham Harry, who claims Hana is not the chosen one before disappearing with the baby. The following day, Hana assumes the event was a dream until citizens across the city begin fainting and a massive monster emerges, draining their energy. While fleeing, Hana sees Hug-tan and Harry under attack. Stepping forward to defend them, both Hana and Hug-tan radiate power as a heart-shaped gem appears. Empowered by the crystal, Hana transforms into the heroine Cure Yell and vanquishes the beast. A stunned Harry reveals that he and Hug-tan originated from a future halted by the Criasu Corporation, the same entity behind the monster. He explains that only the Future Crystals, which embody hopes and dreams, and the Precure they generate can stand against Criasu and restore the future.
