Synopsis
In America, the mafia thrives, with assassinations occurring regularly on its streets. Most of these killings are orchestrated by Inferno, a shadowy organization that deploys its nearly unstoppable human weapon, known as "Phantom." One day, a Japanese tourist stumbles upon Phantom's latest hit. Desperate to flee, he takes refuge in an isolated building. But Phantom—revealed to be a young woman named Ein—and Inferno's leader, Scythe Master, capture the tourist and subject him to brainwashing. Renamed Zwei, this former tourist becomes a memory-less puppet of Inferno. Plunged into a realm of lies, betrayal, and brutality, Zwei must struggle to survive, hoping to one day recover his past and break free from a world where death is a constant threat.
