Synopsis
Following a finger fracture during a junior high match, Takao Taniguchi is sidelined from baseball. Upon enrolling at Sumitani High School, he spends his time observing the baseball club from afar despite his injury. His dedication catches the attention of the soccer club captain, and although he still harbors dreams of returning to baseball, he ultimately chooses to join the soccer team. Although he starts as a novice, the strong work ethic he cultivated in junior high shines through, leading his new teammates to recognize his potential. While dedicating himself to soccer, Taniguchi cannot shake his youthful passion for baseball and secretly begins umpiring games.
