Synopsis
Mimu Emilton, a cute fourteen-year-old, travels to the annual Starland Festival with the dream of becoming an idol like her hero, Yuri. This festival is the most celebrated event on a united Earth, and Yuri—now the planet's President—has urged people to aspire to become Excellent Idols. Unfortunately, Mimu can never seem to reach her audition on time; one misadventure after another lands her in embarrassing predicaments (often involving exposed undergarments) from which she is rescued by the current Excellent Idols, who become her friends. Just as she finally steps onto the stage to begin her audition, an unknown alien group kidnaps both her and the Excellent Idols. This kicks off a wild interdimensional chase that puts Mimu in a position to save the world—if only she can believe in herself.
