Come Back to My Mind

Synopsis

The main character is hanging out with friends but finds the discussion uninteresting. His thoughts frequently drift off into his own fantasy realm before returning to the group. As a result, their conversation doesn't flow smoothly. After several mental excursions into his imagination, he gradually senses its emptiness and becomes intrigued by the ongoing dialogue and the evolving connections with those around him. He then chooses to re-engage with the conversation. First-year project from 2010 by Naoaki Shibuta, Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Department of Animation.
