Do as the Fish Tells You

Synopsis

A pet fish tells a boy one day, "I want to leave home." The boy reluctantly takes the fish out to the sea, claiming he must "keep his promise," as the fish says. Their memories along the way become slightly inconsistent. This is a first-year work from 2013 by Onohana, produced at Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Department of Animation.
