Synopsis
The Golden Kids, a team within Koganedai Downtown FC, have never won a single match since the club was founded. Goal Kitagawa, the team's captain and goalkeeper, is determined to lead his current teammates to their first victory before he moves away next month. Despite their strong resolve, they suffer another crushing defeat, extending their losing streak to 22 games. The local supporters, who usually cheer them on, are beginning to lose patience with the endless losses. At school, the Golden Kids are increasingly bullied because of their consistent failures. Concerned adults worry that the harassment could get worse. When the team falls into despair and loses their passion for soccer, they see Goal training alone with intense focus. Inspired by his dedication, the Golden Kids restart their rigorous training, aiming for that long-awaited win. Their next match is against the formidable Wild Tigers, the second-ranked team in the Jonan League. Can the Golden Kids achieve their first victory? What fate awaits the team from the perspective of the community's adults?
