Synopsis
Shun Tokinoya has abstained from online gaming due to the trauma of an accident that claimed his father’s life and disabled his sister. Now a model high school student burdened by guilt over his former lifestyle, he works part-time at a cybercafe owned by his childhood friend Nozomi Inatsuki to help support his family. However, a new incident drags him back into the online gaming world. After the sudden retirement of all players from FOX ONE—Nozomi’s father’s esports team—the Inatsuki family faces crushing debt. To settle their obligations, Shun reluctantly enters the Xaxerion Championship tournament. Teaming up with their classmate Akito Sendou, the trio recruits talented players to reconstruct the squad. Despite securing two promising members for FOX ONE, victory is not guaranteed. If Shun cannot overcome his overwhelming guilt, this makeshift team has no hope of winning the championship.
