Synopsis
Because of her mother's job, Chizuko Date has constantly relocated and never formed lasting bonds or a permanent home. While living with her grandfather Suikyou, she witnesses an incredible event: a magical girl named Berry Blossom battling Chroma, a member of the evil organization Fossa Magna. This sight sparks a deep fascination in Chizuko, and she becomes an ardent fan of the newly emerged magical girl. Over time, Berry Blossom's popularity wanes because of Chroma's incompetence. When Chizuko unexpectedly runs into Chroma, she frankly voices her frustrations. Chroma, weary of constant defeats and at risk of being expelled from Fossa Magna, begs Chizuko to become his deputy and assist him in his wicked schemes. In order to restore Berry Blossom's prominence, Chizuko must decide whether siding with the magical girl's archenemy is justified.
