Synopsis
Continues the story of White Snake
In "White Snake," the white snake demon Xiao-Bai is tasked with killing the Emperor's Taoist advisor, who slaughters snakes to prolong his own life and gain imperial favor. However, before she can finish her assignment, the advisor's underlings attack and defeat her. Fortunately, a magical hairpin gifted by the Snake Mother saves her life, but it wipes away all her memories. Xiao-Bai wakes up in a Snake-catcher village, unaware of her true identity or that she is surrounded by her sworn enemies. There, she meets Xu Xuan, the man who rescued her, and feels a growing connection to him. Together, they set out to uncover Xiao-Bai's lost past and the secrets behind her enchanted hairpin. Meanwhile, Xiao-Qing, Xiao-Bai's sister, vows to find her within three days or face death, following the Snake Mother's orders. As demons, Taoists, and humans collide, a forbidden love story begins to unfold.
In this installment
The story is set in Hangzhou during the Southern Song dynasty. Xiaobai and Xiaoqing meet Xu Xian, who is the reincarnation of A Xuan. As their relationship grows, Xiaobai and Xu Xian marry and open Baoan Hall to treat the sick and save lives. But Fahai discovers their demonic nature and tries to separate them.
