Synopsis
Continues the story of Tales of Demon and God
In his previous life, Nie Li was too weak to defend his home when it truly mattered, but through sheer determination, he became the most powerful Demon Spiritist and reached the peak of the martial world. Yet he perished in the battle against the Sage Emperor and six deity-ranked beasts. His soul was then reincarnated back to when he was just thirteen years old. Though he is the weakest in his class, possessing the lowest talent with only a red soul realm—and a feeble one at that—he uses the vast knowledge he gained from his past life to train far faster than anyone could anticipate. He also resolves to help those who died nobly in his former life train more quickly as well. He aims to protect the city from the future devastation by demon beasts and from its previous fate of being destroyed. He seeks to safeguard his lover, friends, family, and fellow citizens who perished in the beast assault or its aftermath. And he intends to destroy the so-called Sacred family, who arrogantly abandoned their duty and betrayed the city in his past life.
