According to filmmaker Nobuhiro Kawanaka, this work is "more erotic than sex itself." It alternates between close-up shots of a nude male-female couple and sweeping aerial views of a bamboo forest. The footage was then projected onto a screen and rephotographed using high-contrast black-and-white film. During processing, 80 to 100 distinct color tones were applied to the prints, creating a posterization-like visual effect.
