Final Fantasy VII: On the Way to a Smile - Episode: Denzel

Synopsis

After the conflict between the tyrannical energy conglomerate Shinra, the insurgent group Avalanche, and the demented Sephiroth, the battered planet begins to heal. A small settlement called Edge emerges near the ruins of Midgar. Reeve Tuesti, formerly Shinra's Urban Development Director, speaks with Denzel, a young boy, about the possibility of him joining Reeve's World Regenesis Organization, which aims to restore and protect the world. Denzel shares his tragic history with Reeve, explaining how the consequences of Avalanche's valiant deeds led to the destruction of Midgar and the loss of all those close to him. By confiding in Reeve, Denzel discovers a renewed sense of direction.
