Synopsis
In "Tonbo ni Natta Yat-chan," a traffic safety short for elementary school children, a boy named Yat-chan—despite knowing road rules—frequently plays in the street and dies in a tragic accident. His close friend and classmate, Miko, is devastated by the loss. The film closes at sunset with Miko sobbing heavily as a dragonfly glides past. Unlike standard safety videos that directly teach rules, this short relies on emotional impact. It seeks to make children feel a sense of guilt and follow traffic laws by showing the grief their own death would bring to loved ones.
