Synopsis
Wim Strauss is a "granting caster," a support mage whose spells boost the strength of his companions. While that ability has its uses, it can't be employed directly in combat, earning him little respect from his party members. To them, support magic is just dead weight. Before long, they kick him out, leaving Wim to question whether his adventuring days are through. Fortunately for Wim, he still has one big opportunity: his childhood friend Heidemarie arranges an audition for him with her elite A-rank party, Nachtlibelle. She and Wim both know his magic is capable of more than just trivial backup, but now he has to prove it. It's time to demonstrate that support mages can do far more than simply stay on the sidelines.
