1981 Manga

Touch is a shounen story about two twin brothers, a pretty girl next door, and that good old pastime of baseball. The manga was written by one of the most well known manga-ka out there, Adachi Mitsuru in the early 80's (1981-1986). He's a wonderful writer who tends to write stories that are related to baseball and Koshien, the stadium where the All High School Baseball Tournament is held.

11-year-old Tsubasa Ohzora transfers to his new school where he quickly becomes the star of the school's soccer team. His Brazilian coach, Roberto Hongo, notices the potential of the young athlete and soon offers him a chance to come with him to Brazil. Young Tsubasa trains more and more and is with each passing game more confident in his abilities. Old enemies become his friends and the World Cup seems closer and closer for him.

On the same day that she left, he got fired from his job and since then his life is getting downhill. 7 years later while he's hired to perform a magician show at the Foster Home, he met a little girl there and is soon learned that she is his girlfriend's daughter. He is in shocked, Diana, his girlfriend is now dead and this little girl is now convinced that Jane is the one who can take her to meet her real dad. Jane doesn't want to get in any more trouble.
