To pay off her foster father's debt, Gen Setsuka (Xuan Xue Ha) works as a bodyguard in the red light district. However, when she catches the interest of a dashing noble by the name of Kou Shiki (Hong Zhi Hui), her normal life is suddenly changed. He arbitrarily settles her father's debt and orders her in turn to work in the imperial harem. Her job was to be the bodyguard of the highest ranking imperial consort, a prime target for assassination. Though Setsuka is still doubtful of why he would extend his generosity to someone of such lowly status as herself, the contract is settled. Nevertheless, in the midst of her duties Setsuka finds that her past is tied to the imperial palace...
