The story is set in the distant future, on a planet dominated by over-evolved machines. Meanwhile, Lerin Cliffis, a young man who has dreamed of being a hero since he was a child, is an outstanding explorer recognised by all, but he is desperate because he is not named a hero. Lerin had lost his purpose in life, but he meets Ul, a mechanical girl who is supposed to be his enemy, and he learns a shocking truth. Ul knows that the human race will soon become extinct, and that only Lerin can save it! Lerin starts working with her, but unimaginable difficulties await him...
