Set in a distant future after the calamity of Armageddon, the world lies in ruins. The conflict between humans, known as Terrans, and vampires, called Methuselah, rages on as the Vatican and the New Human Empire face off. Yet amid the carnage, many hope for peaceful coexistence between the two races. Standing in their way is the Rosenkreuz Orden, a cabal of vampire extremists who manipulate both sides to fuel further hostility. To counter them, Cardinal Caterina leads the Vatican’s special operations unit “AX,” which must deploy every asset at its disposal—including a vampire who feeds on the blood of other vampires.

Trinity Blood: Rage Against the Moons was left unfinished due to the death of author Sunao Yoshida. The first four volumes were published in English by Tokyopop from April 10, 2007 to April 27, 2010.
