Vanitas no Karte

There once lived a vampire named Vanitas, despised by his own kind because he was born under a full blue moon, while most vampires arise on the night of a crimson one. Frightened and isolated, he crafted the Book of Vanitas, a cursed grimoire destined to one day exact his revenge upon all vampires—or so the legend goes. Vanitas no Karte follows Noé Archiviste, a young man journeying aboard an airship in 19th-century Paris with a single objective: locating the Book of Vanitas. A sudden vampire assault brings him face-to-face with the mysterious Vanitas, a doctor specializing in vampire ailments and, to Noé's astonishment, a completely ordinary human. This enigmatic physician has inherited both the name and the infamous tome from the legendary Vanitas, employing the grimoire to cure his patients. Yet beneath his gentle facade lurks something far more ominous.
