Ookiku Furikabutte
おおきく振りかぶって
Ren Mihashi is a pitcher who stubbornly remains on the mound no matter what. His middle school teammates resented him for it, blaming him for their constant defeats and dismissing his starting role as favoritism. Eventually, Mihashi fled to a different high school, convinced he would never amount to anything in baseball. Once he enrolls at Nishiura High, however, he is swiftly drawn into the newly formed baseball team, where others recognize his skills. Mihashi is partnered with the blunt catcher Takaya Abe, who vows to unlock his full potential as an ace—on the condition that he never disobeys his orders. This begins Mihashi's journey to develop the strength and confidence needed to stand tall alongside his new teammates on any field.
