Eien no Aselia: The Spirit of Eternity Sword

Takamine Yuto to his sister-in-law Kaori are making a visit to their parents' graves when they are abruptly whisked away to the land of Phantasmagoria. In this realm, the King and a woman named Restina take Kaori captive and compel Yuto to fight against their foes. The King presents Yuto with a sword called Motomeh and assigns him the duty of defending the kingdom from malevolent spirits. Kaori will be freed only if Yuto helps secure Phantasmagoria. Thus, Yuto's journey begins.
