Hinageshi is a 15-year-old girl who runs "Ajisaiya" in Fukagawa, Edo during the Genroku era (1688-1704). With the nagging god of the kamado, Aragami, as her partner, she is training to carry on her late parents' will to "cook food that makes people happy"!　However, she is troubled by the fact that customers don't come to her restaurant because it is too shabby... and it may be on the verge of extinction!　 However, a request from Izutsu, the only regular customer and a town's commoner, leads to the solution of various problems and troubles with dishes like "okusuri," a medicine that heals the mind and body - and so it goes. An oedo gourmet tale of medicine, food, and compassion!
