Harukanaru Toki no Naka de

Akane, a ordinary high school student, is unexpectedly transported to the Heian period of Japan, in the city then called Kyou (now Kyoto). There, she learns that she is the Ryuujin no Miko, the Priestess of the Dragon God. However, her arrival in the past is complicated by Akram, the leader of the Oni Clan, who seeks to destroy Kyou. To protect her, Akane is given eight male guardians—known as the Hachiyou, or Eight Leaves—who stand with her against the coming threats. The series also includes one-shots: Volume 1: Love-X, and Volume 4: My Mind, His Mind.
