A spider spins its web, hoping to catch a ladybug, but the ladybug escapes by hiding inside a tulip. When a violent storm arrives, the spider is tossed around by the wind, while the ladybug stays sheltered within the flower.

『桃太郎の海鷲』では、桃太郎が鬼ヶ島の船を破壊するために予期せぬ空からの攻撃を指揮し、動物の仲間たちを乗組員および操縦者として任務に就かせる。
