あらすじ
Kanashiki Debu Neko-chan is a story about Maru, a cat rescued from a shelter in Matsuyama city and taken in by Anna. Under the family's care and with plentiful meals, Maru gradually becomes overweight and spends most of his days resting by the window, gazing out at the garden. His contentment turns to envy when the family brings home a new cat named Cerisier and showers it with affection. After a fight with Cerisier, Maru is hurt by the family's harsh words and, taking the advice of another cat, decides to leave and discover what lies beyond.
