Birth place: Aomori Prefecture, Japan Horiuchi Hiroyuki was born December 21, 1962 in Aomori Prefecture, Japan. He is an animator and character designer. Horiuchi joined Studio Pokke, after graduating in 1981 and stayed there, until the studio's bankruptcy in 1987. Afterwards, he joined Anime International Company (AIC), but would leave the following year, and went freelance.
