“Perhaps just a casual sleepover, you know… that sort of thing?” Hyun-oh fell silent for a moment at Lee Yeon’s question. His expression remained unruffled, calm yet simultaneously darkened with a flicker of anger. “If that’s all within your limits… Well, fine. I suppose that’ll do.” Lee Yeon’s eyes narrowed. Even though she’d brought it up first, hearing it from his mouth felt like a final blow, stabbing her heart deeply. Hyun-oh reached out his hand. Lee Yeon flinched, but as always, she didn’t pull away. “You’ve changed a lot, Jeong Yi-yeon.” The hand that had been caressing her cheek brushed her ear and slowly trailed downward. The fingertips that had been tracing her skin slowly dug into the space between her nape and the collar of her shirt. “Think about sleeping with me too.”
