Creada por la familia Einzbern como un homúnculo, Sella sirve tanto como doncella como instructora de hechicería para Illyasviel. Aunque aparenta ser mayor, solo tiene dos años de edad. Compartiendo el cabello rubio sedoso y los ojos carmesí profundos de Ilya, Sella se caracteriza por su naturaleza voluble e insegura, especialmente en lo concerniente a su cuerpo.
