In "Babel II," ordinary student Koichi learns he is the reincarnation of an alien protector who originally crashed on Earth and is now duty-bound to defend the planet. Assuming the identity of Babel, he joins forces with three formidable extraterrestrial allies to fight a sinister cult leader. Their quest to save humanity takes them from the deserts of South Asia to the affluent neighborhoods of New York City's Upper East Side, culminating in a decisive confrontation with "the master" inside a hidden stronghold in the Swiss Alps. The narrative moves at a rapid, gripping pace, with Earth's survival hinging on Babel's ability to master his psychic powers and neutralize the dangers menacing humankind.

Demetan comes from a family so impoverished that he cannot even attend school in his woodland pond community. However, he has a friend named Ranatan, the lovely, kind frog girl who is the daughter of the pond's wealthy ruler. Naturally, her father is quite displeased by this relationship and tries to break it apart. Yet the young frogs continue on with courage and confidence, not only to live their own lives but also to guide the heartless leopard frog toward a sense of justice and generosity. Gradually, the pond community responds to their sincerity and joins them in a march toward a bright future.
