As Horus sits at his father's bedside in the final moments, he discovers a devastating truth: they fled their original village after the devil Grunwald manipulated its people into turning on each other, wiping out the entire community. Driven by this revelation, Horus sets out for his birthplace to search for any survivors. Eventually, he finds shelter in a neighboring village and earns the locals' trust by slaying the fierce beasts terrorizing them. Just as Horus starts to build a peaceful life, Grunwald reappears, once again sowing suspicion and conflict among the villagers.
