Eighteen years ago, during the Seitei War, Kunishige Rokuhira was celebrated as Japan's greatest swordsmith. He crafted six mystical blades, each with unique powers that ensured the country's victory. Following the war, Kunishige and his son Chihiro retreated to the mountains, where Chihiro learned the art of swordmaking. Approaching his fifteenth birthday, Chihiro promised to follow in his father's footsteps and create legendary swords. That dream was crushed when he witnessed his father murdered by a group of powerful sorcerers who stole the sacred katanas. Three years later, Chihiro burns with deep hatred and a fierce thirst for vengeance. Carrying Enten—the seventh and final enchanted sword secretly forged by his father—he hunts the Hishaku, the faction he holds responsible for his father's death. Though he has not yet mastered Enten's full potential or achieved perfect swordsmanship, Chihiro is resolved to recover the stolen blades, avenge his father, and preserve his legacy.

The story of Fate Rewinder centers on the secret operations of the Spacetime Police Special Task Force, known as the "Rewinders." This unit focuses on rescuing individuals who have suffered early and tragic deaths. Using the "Retry Eye"—a time-control device implanted surgically in their right eye—they rewrite chronological events to improve outcomes. The Rewinders frequently have to reset time repeatedly, sometimes making hundreds or even thousands of attempts, to secure a favorable future for those they protect.

In an alternate timeline set in 1600, ten years after Oda Nobunaga brought all of Japan under his rule, the great unifier senses his own approaching death. He declares that whoever can bring forth the strongest fighter will inherit his position as leader. Their ambitions of taking control of the country crushed, the various warlords turn to their mightiest champions, engaging in a brutal contest to determine who will reign supreme over the land.

In the futuristic metropolis of New Dawn, Free Fire Daybreak centers on Kelly, a protagonist who wakes up with no recollection of her past and becomes entangled in the enigmatic "Project Bloom" orchestrated by Horizon Corporation.
