Born in Tokyo, seiyuu Fumina Hara is married to former professional soccer player Tetsuo Nakanishi. Her physical measurements are listed as 84-58-84 (33"-23"-33"). Her diverse range of hobbies and special skills includes long-distance swimming, skiing, Tanshiki tennis, unicycle riding, ball-riding, and weight training. She also enjoys soccer and baseball commentating, collecting perfume, and has a particular affinity for jewelry, favoring diamonds above all others, though she also likes emeralds. Her stage career is highlighted by her portrayal of Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon in the Sailor Moon musicals during 1998 and 1999.
