Personal Information
Meghan Cary is a professional actor and playwright who has built a successful career spanning theatre, television, and radio. She writes and performs in her one-woman show, On the Way to the Waterfall, and is currently collaborating on a musical destined for Broadway. On International Women's Day in 2019, she published her debut book, Sing Louder: The Stories Behind the Songs, and is now working on a second volume. Originally raised in Hershey, PA, Cary initially enrolled at Duke University to study math and chemistry with the intention of becoming a doctor. However, she changed course during her studies, earning a B.A. in drama before completing an M.F.A. in acting at FSU's Asolo Conservatory for Acting. As a founding member of the NYC-based Actor's Shakespeare Company, she has appeared in over 100 plays across the United States and Europe. Additionally, Cary has supported her creative pursuits through work as an on-camera commercial and voice-over artist.
