Steve Wilcox appeared in "American Me," directed by Edward James Olmos and widely recognized as Tupac Shakur's favorite film. He subsequently collaborated with filmmaker Brian Flemming on two feature projects: "Hang Your Dog In The Wind," which secured the Audience Award at the Florida International Film Festival, and "Nothing So Strange." Flemming and Wilcox traveled to Park City, Utah, to present "Nothing So Strange" following an invitation to the Slamdance festival. Wilcox later reunited with Olmos for the HBO feature "Walkout," which Olmos also directed. Additionally, he worked once more with director Brian Cox, having previously appeared alongside him in "Scorpion Spring," for the feature film "El Muerto." In this production, Wilcox acted opposite Wilmer Valderrama, Maria Conchita Alonzo, Billy Drago, and Tony Plana.
