James Timothy Daly, professionally known as Tim Daly, was born on March 1, 1956, in New York City, New York. An accomplished American actor, director, and producer, he has established a diverse career spanning stage, television, film, and voice acting. Daly is perhaps most recognized for his television performance as Joe Hackett on the NBC sitcom Wings. Additionally, he gained significant acclaim for his voice work as Superman/Clark Kent in the animated series Superman: The Animated Series. He has been married to Amy Van Nostrand since 1982, and the couple has two children.
