Hiroyuki Nagato (January 10, 1934 – May 21, 2011) was a Japanese actor born in Kyoto. His filmography includes prominent roles in Season of the Sun, Endless Desire, My Second Brother, Stolen Desire, Sukeban Deka, and Yo-Yo Girl Cop. He passed away in Tokyo on May 21, 2011. Nagato hailed from a distinguished family of filmmakers and performers. His grandfather was the renowned director Makino Shouzou. His father, Sawamura Kunitarou, and mother, Makino Tomoko, were both actors, as were his aunt Sawamura Sadako and uncle Katou Daisuke. Within his own generation, his wife Minamida Youko was an actress, and his younger brother is the actor Masahiko Tsugawa.
