Personal Information

Mayu Kudou, known by the nickname Kudomayu, was born in Tokyo, Japan. She has served as the theme song singer for the Pretty Cure series starting with Pretty Cure 5. From 2005 to 2010, she was a member of the jazz vocal unit Harajuku BJ Girls (Chix Chicks). Additionally, she made appearances in the series as herself and as a Fairy Tone in Suite Precure. Kudou was affiliated with Rainbow Entertainment until 2012 and subsequently with Style Cube until 2013, after which she became a freelancer. On October 9, 2016, she announced via her blog that she had married a man outside the entertainment industry and retired in April 2017. She resumed her activities in September 2019 and joined L&L Victor Entertainment.
