His tenure in WWE spanned from 2002 to 2019, featuring multiple stints throughout that period. In his transition to acting, Bautista is most recognized for his role as Drax the Destroyer within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He portrayed the character starting with Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014 and continued through Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2023, at which point he announced his departure from the franchise.
